Happy Birthday!!!!

Happy Birthday to my 3 little miracles!! I cannot believe it has already been 2 years. I know it did not go this fast with Racheal!! Today always takes me back to this day 2 years ago when I was in the hopital, leaking fluid & blood...not knowing what was going to happen. I remember probably around 3 or 4 they came in & whisked me down to l&d so they could watch me more closely since I was loosing large amounts of blood. Then Dr. Tabor came in & said we need to do a c-section now. After that it was pretty much a blur. I remeber we were waiting on blood for me from the blood bank & Randall was running around drying to get cameras & the the cord blood paperwork & trying to call everyone. I got blood & was rushed into the O.R. Then at 6:32 pm Rylie was born, 6:34 Reese was born & 6:35 Ryan was born. I remember hearing Rylie cry & it was a huge relief. I remember waiting to hear Reese & I never did. I was so scared & wanted to jump off that table to check on her. Randall could see what they were doing & told me they were intubating her. I don't remember hearing Ryan either, but Randall told me he was ok. After that everything is really a blur. I didn't get to see them in the O.R.. I turned my head & watched at they rolled them out of the room into the NICU. After they were finished with my surgery, I went to recovery. I had tons of family & friends come in to see me, but I was still pretty much out of it. Then they closed the NICU & wheeled my bed into there so I could see the babies. I don't really remember what they looked like. They were hard to see from the bed & I was still doped up. Below are pictures from when they were born thru today. Crazy couple of weeks!

Sorry it has been a while since I have posted. It has been very crazy around here. The triples seem to all be feeling better finally. Racheal still has an ear infection. She is now taking 2 antibiotics so hopefully that will clear it up.

Last Saturday was PEG's 1st Penny Auction. We had an amazing turnout. We had 1000 cups & sold them all 20 before it started. We also ran out of chairs & food in the concession stand. We raised almost $6000. We were very excited about the turnout & the amount raised.

Last week I also finally got my laundry room cabinets. If you remember 1 1/2 yrs ago the house flooded & we moved the laundry room. Well I have been working like crazy getting them stained. They are now finished & filled up. I even have some shelves that don't have anything on them. That is a 1st for us!

We have also been working on getting everything ready for the big birthday party. The triplets birthday is this Sunday. Still can't believe they are already going to be 2!!! We are not having their party until next Saturday. The theme is 3 Ring Circus which is very fitting for our house. The boys seem to have hit the terrible 2's. Ryan likes to push & take away toys. Reese received the bad end of that. Last Sunday he pushed her & went flying across the living room. She had large gash on her right eyebrow. Luckily Randall was here & he used wound glue to close it up.

It also snowed this week. They did a little better this time. Rylie & Reese still would not move unless they were holding my hand. Ryan still loved it. He ran and ran. He also tubed down the hill with Racheal.

Happy Valentines!!!!!

It has been pretty crazy around here. It seems like the kids have been sick forever. We have had coughs & runny noses. It usually starts with Racheal & then makes its rounds to everyone. Right now Rylie has an ear infection in both ears & Ryan still has a cough & snotty nose. My allergies have also been horrible.

The little kids are talking more & more. They all say Racheal in their own different way. Rylie did something the other day & Racheal said "oh my gosh". He repeated "my gosh!" It was so cute!

We did have some exciting news on Monday. Kim Ross Sloan that worked for us for the school year 08-09 had her baby boy. Kaleb Paul was born by c-section at 12:48 in Brownwood. He was 8lbs 10 oz & 20 inches long. We went to see them yesterday right after they got home. He is really cute. Now Racheal has another baby brother.

Finally an update!

I know it has been a while, but it has been a crazy few weeks around here. We were featured on the Multiples & More blog. They did an awesome job. If you missed it, click on their button to the left. The next morning Racheal said the pledge on a radio station in the DFW area. She did an awesome job! Then on that Friday the stomach bug hit our house!! Racheal was sick Thursday night & missed her first day of school on Friday. Randall left for work that day & was gone until Monday. Then Sunday afternoon I got sick & Sunday night Rylie got sick. When Randall got home Monday he gave me a shot & sent me to bed. Then the door bell rang & it was a police officer. Evidently we had been robbed Sunday night & we didn't know it. They stole our back pack that we used as a diaper bag & the police officer had found all the contents of the bag by the road. There were many people that had things stolen out of their vehicles that night. We were told that they were caught.

So last week was spent recovering from our horrible weekend. We did enjoy getting to play outside some last week. I am also working on getting rid of this triplet belly I have had for the last 2 years! I did loose 5 lbs when I was sick. I went today & did boot camp with my cousin Mary Beth. Lets hope I can walk in the morning! lol

The triplets are talking more & more everyday. Rylie talks almost non-stop, but you can't understand what he says. Ryan likes to repeat everything you say. One of the cartoons Racheal watches they say "your busted", Ryan says "I beested". It is so cute. Randall & I were in the kitchen this afternoon working on the sink because we had a leak and here comes Ryan walking in. I said how did you get out of the pen? I put him back in & he looks at me with that sly little look he has & stepped up on the handle to recliner & swung his leg over the gate. Great! I knew this day would come sooner or later, but was hoping for later!! I still cannot believe in a month they will be 2 years old!! We have also been getting ready for their party. We are having a very small party this year. Last year was exhausting so I decided to go small this year.

Racheal is finally back to school this week. She was not very excited to go back. Her teacher is still on maternity leave & she is ready for her to come back. The triplets are talking more & more every day. They still jabber in "japanese"a lot, but are say more words too. I finally got a crib tent for Rylie's bed. He would throw his blanket out at nap time & during the night. He then would scream for hours. So now he can't throw it out & has slept all night since. They are all eating with a fork really well now & pretty much refuse to eat unless they have a fork now.

Happy New Year!!

I was looking back at posts from a year ago. Man have we come a long way. Ryan was the only one that had any teeth. They were just starting to crawl. Now they are running all over the place. They all have a mouth full of teeth!! Yes, We survived another year with triplets!!!! Can you believe in 2 short months they will be 2 years old!!! YIKES!! Seems like yesterday I was banned to the couch & now they are almost 2! I know it did not go this fast with Racheal. On Tuesday, Jan 12th we will be featured on http://www.multiplesandmore.blogspot.com.

Rylie has brown eyes like daddy & big sister. He has the thickest hair I have ever seen & it grows so fast. He is the honorary one. I am sure I will lots of talks with his teacher when he starts school. He only gives kisses at bedtime & sometimes he just sticks his cheek out for kisses. He has all his teeth except for the 2 year molars. He says momma, dadda, bubba, sissy, bye-bye. Mickey, Manny (for Handy Manny), uh-oh, cookie, quack-quack, ruff-ruff, ball, What's that?, thank you.

Reese is still the shortest of the bunch. I think she is going to take after her Nana. She also has blue eyes like Nana. She is a little tease at bedtime. She will stand in the corner & pucker up, but when you walk over to her, she falls down & laughs. Reese also has got some dance moves. She is hilarious. She sticks her little bottom out & just bounces. She has all her teeth except for her canine teeth & back molars. She is working on the canine teeth. Several of them are poking through the skin. Pooh bear is pooh-pooh. She says sissy, bubba, snowman, mickey, minnie, uh-oh, cookie, baby, quack-quack

Ryan is the tallest. His eyes have changed to hazel. He is the most talkative. If you tell him to say something, he tries to repeat it. Elmo is melmo. He goes to the window everyday to look for the snowman. He is the only one that like the snow. Kim is im. He is very protective of bubba & sissy. He always wants to know where they are. He is also the most affectionate one. I bet I get a hundred hugs a day & I love it!! He has all his teeth, except for the 2 year molars, but he is working on getting them. He also calls pooh bear pooh-pooh. He says cute, cold, bye-bye, uh oh, Mickey, Mandy, thank you, uh-oh, eat, cookie, pick up-pick up, ball, baby, ruff-ruff, quack-quack, mooo, shoe, side (outside). He says ewww when he needs his nose wiped or he is poopy.

We also tried giving them all a fork yesterday & they did great. So now I have to buy more forks for them. I am going to steal a new year's resolution from another triplet mom & say we will be diaper free by the end of the year!!! How awesome that will be!!!!
