Summer is here!

Here I am behind again on blogging. We had our garage sale the weekend after school was out. We did really well. We got rid of almost everything. Racheal had her lemonade stand to raise money for the park. She raised $44. I was so proud of her. She is a very good salesman! In the midst of getting ready for the garages sale. Rylie had hand, foot & mouth which then made it's rounds to everyone. Ryan had a very light case. The rest of us also got the virus that goes along with the rash & are still working on getting over that. Last week Kim & I took the kids to Abilene zoo. It was so hot. It was the little kids first trip to the zoo. They loved the monkeys and the ducks. After that we went to Mr Ghatti's & then the mall. The mall had a little play area & the kids loved it.

This week Racheal starts story hour at the library & summer school at Rainbow Dreams. She has been reading books almost everyday.

last day of kindergarten!

Today is Racheal's last day of kindergarten! This year went by incredibly fast. Seems like she just started, now it is already over. It was also a very emotional day for mommy! Didn't think it would be as hard as the first day. By baby is growing up way to fast!

We have had a very busy week. Last Thursday they had field day at school. Kim & I took the little kids to watch. It was so hot, but they had fun. Racheal won a 4th place ribbon & was so excited because it was pink. Then on Friday was suppose to be their field trip to the Abilene zoo. We also took the little kids. It rained off & on all the way to Abilene. When we got there it was cold. They would not let the kids off the bus because of the lightening. We waited for a while & decided the zoo wasn't going to happen. So the parents that were there got there kids. We went to Mr Gattis. The kids had a blast. They have a new roller coaster & Racheal LOVED that. The little kids road the train & loved pushing all the buttons on all the games. There was one game that had ping pong balls & you threw them in buckets. They loved that game. Then on Saturday Racheal had a birthday party to go to at the skating rink. It was the first time she had ever skated. It took us forever to get around the first time. But then she practiced on the carpet & was doing really well. Then we tried again & she did well. Sunday had church, then a baby shower, then back to church for the faithweavers musical. Racheal had a speaking part & did great! Monday they go to go the park for a pizza party since the zoo got canceled. I am going to eat lunch with her today for the last time as a kindergartner! It makes me so sad that it has gone by so quickly.

The little kids are saying more & more. Rylie is just like his dad & asks lots of questions. He pooped in the potty this week also. It was an accident. They were in the bath tub & I could tell he was about to so I grabbed him & put him on the potty!

This Saturday is our neighborhood garage sale. So I have been working on that. I already have all my tables full & still have tons of stuff to put out!

Happy Mother's Day to all of you mom's out there! Wow look how they have grown in just 2 short years! I have had a great day. Racheal gave me a whole sack full of things she made. I also got 2 dozen roses from Randall & the kids. We went to church this morning, came home & had lunch. Then we put the little kids down for a nap. Then Racheal & I went to the cemetary. At church they give out white carnations for people who have lost their mothers. We took it to the cemetary. Then Racheal wanted to take flowers to Grandma Fannie (my grandma) so we drove out there.
I love you mom!!I miss you more than words can say!!! I home I can be half the mom that you were!

Well all the kids have had snotty, nasty noses. Now Ryan has a horrible cough. They are getting so big! We have been spending lots of time outside. I think I am going to have to break out the pool, because it is already getting hot. Last weekend we walked down the road visiting neighbors that were outside. At one house there was a kitten & Ryan & Reese loved it. They chased it all over the place. Kim finally caught it & Ryan just loved on it! Rylie wanted absolutely nothing to do with it. Then we walked to another neighbors house & visited the ducks, rabbits & dogs. Rylie like them much better. They were all behind bars!

Racheal is sooo tired. Yesterday she cried about everything. Only 2 more weeks of school. Yesterday they had a rodeo at school. Today her class has a popcorn party at the park. Her class raised the most money for the park in the Kindergarten class. Tomorrow is kindergarten round up & they get to sing for the kids. Next week they have field day on Thursday & field trip to the Abilene zoo. The entire family is going to venture out for this trip!

As for mommy & her health problems I had my hormones checked & everything was ok. So I was still had no answer as to why I am exhausted & having hot flashes. Randall changed one of my medicines & I am hoping that will help. We are thinking, that since I have lost 20 lbs & have been working out I have sent my body into shock & it is rebelling! Hopefully everything will straighten out soon! I have got to have some energy to keep up with all these kids this summer!
